MASSAGE THERAPIST POSITION in Rexburg.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide excellent guest service.
Implement all rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures with all guests on consistent basis.
Suggest treatment based on observations.
Educate guests with knowledge and confidence on the services, products and programs available.
Be trained to perform “Enhancements” (upgraded services), including:
Aromatherapy
Cupping
Hot Towel Wraps
Stone Face Massage
Peppermint Foot Scrub
Hot Stone Therapy
and more!
Promote the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy.
Link therapeutic products to your service to enhance the guest’s experience at home.
Participate in off-site events.
Stay updated on retail products and promotions available in the clinic.
Create and maintain positive relationships with team members.
Recognize and support team goals.
Exhibit positive leadership skills.
Be prompt and prepared to work (lead by example).
Be open and willing to work a variety of shifts and hours.

Required to work:
At least 2 nights per week as these are our busiest hours
At least 2 Saturdays a month as these are our busiest days

QUALIFICATIONS:

Comply with local and state licensing laws and regulations
Carry personal liability insurance
Hold current state license to practice massage therapy
Be customer service oriented and communicate effectively with guests
Capable of performing/learning deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities
Be a team player.
A positive, outgoing personality with a heart to serve others.
A strong passion and deep understanding of the healing benefits of massage therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Must have a positive attitude, have experience with scheduling software/ cash register or aptitude to learn quickly. Must be confident, outgoing, organized and able to provide great customer service. Our office is open Monday-Saturday, 8am-9pm.

Work shifts needed: Mon-Sat 3-9pm and Tues, Thur, Sat 8am-3pm. Please do not apply if you cannot work at least three days per week of either the morning or the evening shifts. Previous receptionist experience is an advantage. Saturday hours are a condition of employment.

Responsibilities include:

– Answering phones. Booking appointments and answering massage, facial or waxing related questions – Checking clients in/out

– Taking payments and rebooking clients

– Confirming appointments by phone

– Laundry

– Cleaning

– Sales experience

– Filing

– Other tasks as needed
