Why We Love Being Massage Therapists

Emily: Simply put, I love making people feel good! It’s extremely rewarding to be able to make someone feel better. Growing up, my Mother would use essential oils, herbs and massage when I was experiencing pain or sickness. These treatments had a tremendous impact on me and how I viewed health and my body. I love being able to share my passion for health and wellness with others.

Michelle: There is a moment when I have my clients roll from their stomach to their back and they have a half smile on their face. It’s a moment when you can see just how relaxed they really feel. And it’s in that single moment that I know I helped improve their lives. Even if it was just a small piece of their day.

Nicole: I worked in a field in which almost everyone I was around was in pain in some form or another.  I chose massage therapy because I felt it would give me the opportunity to help others cope.  Cope with whatever was effecting them and improve their overall health and well being.

Tasha: I like helping those who come in and you can just see how hurt they are by how they walk or carry themselves. After the massage I watch them walk out like a new person with a smile on their face. My reward is that smile afterwards and knowing I made a difference to them. It’s my favorite thing about being a massage therapist.

Whitney: As a Master Esthetician, I’ve worked closely with massage therapists for about 5 yrs. Along with being an esthetician I have also worked front desk and as a service specialist. In the massage therapy industry everyone is so kind and wants to make a difference for each person that walks in our door. I love the power I have to help someone find confidence in their skin and in themselves. Their smile is dazzling! It’s so powerful!
